Understanding the College Landscape

It can be helpful for 8th -10th grade students to understand a bit about the college application process and requirements to inform their decisions about coursework, extracurricular activities, and considering local colleges to visit. This 2-hour workshop will include an introduction to the current admissions process, understanding of what colleges are looking for, and tips for smoothing the pathway to college. Participants will receive a 4-year roadmap to break down the process into small steps that are easy to accomplish but significantly reduce the anxiety, stress, and overwhelm many students experience during the college application process.

Registration is $20 per person and can be paid by cash, check, or the PayPal link below. (Note: Participation is not confirmed until both the registration form and payment is received). Students and/or parents are welcome to attend, but each must register individually. Parents, when registering yourself, please put N/A for the caregiver/emergency contact section.

Note: This event is sponsored by Girl Scout troop 11075, but is open to anyone in the community.
